Vegan Flax Spread
A healthier option if you need to get that butter fix!

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients on high until mixed well.
  2. Put into a glass container (or split into 2 jars, and keep one into the freezer).
  3. Put in the refrigerator. It should be set after about ½ hour.
  4. Enjoy and use as a substitute for butter or margarine spread.
  5. Store unused portion in the fridge. Will keep for up to two weeks.
  6. Extra Notes

    When shopping for flax meal, it helps to know that linseed is the same as flaxseed. Also, you can substitute organic avocado oil for the olive oil and use less salt if you want an unsalted flavour.
