Sautéed Lemon Green Beans

Sautéed Lemon Green Beans

Method

  1. Trim the ends off the green beans. Scrape off some zest and cut the lemon into thin, moon-shaped slices.
  2. Place a sauté pan over medium heat, then add the olive oil, garlic and green beans. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the lemon slices and zest. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, then add the almond flakes. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Enjoy with a protein such as grilled fish.
